Business Application for Rise Up Young Adult Summer Internship Program

The Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County on an inaugural
RISE UP Young Adult Summer Internship Program.
The goal of the program will be to recruit 10-15 small- to mid-size FWHCC business members to host a cohort of summer interns. The program will focus on providing these internship opportunities to high-barrier students (16 to 24 years in age).
The goal is to provide a valuable professional experience for the students and provide access to young, resilient talent for our businesses.
*All businesses that apply will be screened and vetted through Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County on program eligibility.*
Internship Timeline:
Start Date – June 21st
End Date – September 30th
Must have an active and liable TWC Tax Account Number

Must have a Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN)
Must be a registered business in Tarrant County
Must provide a legitimate internship experience for 8-10 weeks (480 hours max)
Must attend business orientation with Workforce Solutions and the Chamber
Must have worksite agreement between business entity, Workforce Solutions, and Chamber
Must be a Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Member
