Tarrant County Public Health COVID-19 Vaccination

By | blog, COVID19, Uncategorized | No Comments
Your Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce wanted to share information with you on behalf of Tarrant County Public Health regarding the COVID-19 Vaccine Registration.
How do I register for a vaccination?
To register for the vaccine, you need to be in Phase 1A or 1B at this time. Those groups include doctors, nurses, first responders, as well as individuals 65 and older and 18 older with an underlying medical condition. Tarrant County is distributing the Moderna vaccine at this time, which is only available to individuals 18 and older.
When registering, please note that our system is set up to respond to one person per email. If more than one person shares the same email, please register each person separately.
Please attend your scheduled date and time, please do not arrive hours early if at all possible. If you cannot make your appointment, on the designated day, please come the very next day. If that is not an option, please re-register for the vaccine.
Each entity that is distributing the vaccine may approach this process differently, so if you plan to receive your immunization from a pharmacy or doctor, it will be a different registration process.
How to RE-REGISTER for a vaccination?
Repeat the original registration process if you were not able to attend your appointment and were not able to attend the following day.
No. Your first registration covers that. You’ll receive an automated call when that vaccine is ready for you.
We encourage our FWHCC Community to still take precautions like physical distancing and wearing a mask to help stop the spread of COVID-19 as people get vaccinated and we learn more about the immunity produced by the vaccines.
