Empowering Entrepreneurs: FWHCC’s Remarkable Achievements

The Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FWHCC) is committed to transforming the entrepreneurial landscape for small businesses, especially given the alarming statistics that show 50% of small businesses close within their first five years, and only one-third make it past ten years (SBA, 2016). Through our targeted programs and initiatives, we are proud to have made a measurable impact on business success and growth within our community.

Transformative Business Consultations

Our personalized 1-on-1 Business Consultations address critical challenges faced by small business owners. These consultations include networking opportunities, business plan development, market research, SWOT analysis, financial planning, and mentorship. Here’s how we made a difference in 2024:

  • 202 consultations conducted, with a 25% return rate from participants seeking further guidance.
  • Supported LLC registrations and assisted 15 entrepreneurs in creating detailed business plans.
  • Empowered over 100 businesses to navigate the City of Fort Worth’s new bidding portal, Bonfire, leading to $3 million in facilitated bids.
  • Delivered certification assistance for MWBEs, resulting in 20+ applications and 10+ approvals.
